HOLY Bible Q&A: Wisdom will laugh, even mock if you seek her too late. Everyone knows that the Book of Proverbs is filled with the wisdom of God, but how many have truly found wisdom and heard her voice? It surely takes a lot more than just memorizing and quoting the Holy Scriptures, and it makes me wonder how many only turn to seeking God's wisdom and knowledge out of fear, when it is already too late. The Word of the Lord in the Book of Proverbs makes it pretty clear that we are to seek wisdom early and we shall find her, but after calamity strikes, they shall seek wisdom early and not find her. Try not to wait until destruction and desolation comes before seeking the wisdom and knowledge of God, or you might not like the results. God bless in Jesus' name.
WISDOM CRIETH WITHOUT; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, "How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? TURN YOU AT MY REPROOF: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you" Proverbs 1:20-23
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death (Proverbs 8:32-36).
POINT: Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind;
when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof (Proverbs 1:24-30).
COUNTERPOINT: But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil (Proverbs 1:33).
KNOWLEDGE: The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate (Proverbs 8:13).
WISDOM: I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me (Proverbs 8:17).
I hope that you will check out my Holy Bible Q&A. God's Word is wonderful, and really doesn't need our opinions, nor does it require any bogus interpretation to go along with it. The Holy Bible is God's written Word, and I have chosen to do this series using the King James Version of the Bible. God bless in Jesus' name.
